Job Description
This is a remote position.
Silaai is building Indias first C2C marketplace connecting customers with fashion professionals. We are looking for a skilled iOS developer to build and lead our mobilefirst platform development.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features and work closely with the design team to implement intuitive UI/UX
- Design build and maintain both frontend and backend components of our iOS mobile application from the ground up
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Implement secure authentication and payment systems
- Write clean maintainable code with proper documentation
- Stay uptodate with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Implement automated testing

Requirements
- 24 years of iOS app development experience
- Strong demonstrable proficiency in Swift and iOS SDK
- Experience with modern iOS architecture patterns (MVC MVVM)
- Experience with SwiftUI and UIKit
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of iOS Human Interface Guidelines
- Experience with location services camera APIs and payment gateway integration
- Experience with database systems such as MySQL MongoDB or PostgreSQL and with CoreData for local storage
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Experience with lowbandwidth optimization and offlinefirst architecture is preferred
- Experience in developing and shipping production apps on the App Store
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent command of English
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Kotlin and Android development is preferred
- Experience with cloud services like AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Understanding of DevOps practices
- Knowledge of Hindi/regional language(s) for localization
