Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Inspector
LOCATION: Wichita KS
PAY RATE: $43/hour

MUST BE US PERSONS

We are a national staffing firm partnering with toptier aerospace companies and we are seeking firstclass employees to join our clients teams!

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:

  • Interpret and use drawings inspection manuals specifications shop math precision measuring instruments and specialized inspection tools to complete assignments.

  • Follow Quality Management System policies and procedures.

  • Understand company policies procedures and specifications.

  • Maintain overall knowledge of production processes.

  • Operate testing machines calculate results and maintain certifications as required.

  • Prepare and maintain quality records and verify tool qualifications.

  • Follow inspection procedures to accept or reject parts processes or assemblies.

  • Work across equivalent or lowerlevel inspector roles and crosstrain in related classifications.

  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and use computing tools proficiently.

Required Skills:

  • 5 years of aerospace airframe assembly inspection experience.

  • Strong blueprint reading skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.

  • Experience writing NonConformance Reports (NCRs).

  • Punctual and reliable attendance.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain required training certifications.

  • Willingness to work any shift (1st 2nd or 3rd) and periods of heavy overtime.

Desired Skills:

  • SAP experience.

  • Boeing 737 airframe/fuselage experience.
