Job Description
The Child Life Specialist reflects the mission vision and values of NM adheres to the organizations Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program and complies with all relevant policies procedures guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provides therapeutic developmental recreational and diversional play activities for pediatric patients.
- Supports the childs development of personal coping strategies to enhance adjustment to the hospital experience and enhance normal growth and development.

Qualifications :
Required:
- One to two years of experience as a Child Life Specialist preferred
- Bachelors Degree in Hospital Play Education Child Development or Psychology
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Basic computer knowledge
Preferred:
- Additional languages
- Masters Degree in Child Development
