About the Opportunity

The Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for supporting and assisting the Talent Acquisition team including the central portfolios and academic groups on a range of talent acquisition matters.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Operations Analyst this position will ensure all talent activities are supported. The position will also provide advice and assistance on a range of policies and procedures. The position is required to liaise with internal and external clients other elements of the University and external bodies as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support key Talent Acquisition processes and systems in areas such as processing paid Appointments.
  • Entering and processing offers for advertised processes.
  • Process financial transactions including raising of purchase orders reconciling and processing invoices for payment and record keeping in collaboration with other staff including Finance. 
  • Build effective professional relationships and facilitate effective communication working in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the staff profile data and update / maintain position data within PeopleSoft ensuring position management procedures and HR Tree protocols are strictly adhered to.
  • Work independently and positively as a member of the Talent Acquisition team to complete assigned tasks and deadlines.
  • Support and promote compliance with relevant legislation and University policies and procedures including diversity and safety and exhibit good practice.
  • Be a leading example of the principles and values embodied in the Universitys Code of Conduct and behave act and always communicate to reflect fairness ethics and professionalism.

About you

  • The occupant of this position will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Business Administration Safety or a relevant field or possess relevant work experience in Human Resources and Safety.

Candidates must have full unrestricted Australian work rights and may be subject to a National criminal history check.

This is a 6 month opportunity and can based at either Brisbane South (Nathan) or the Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multisite University you may be required to work across other locations.

HEW 4 Salary $71827.41 $75785.75 17% super. Full package range $84038.08 $88669.34.
