The IT System Administrator/Network will be crucial in Zenni COE managing maintaining monitoring troubleshooting and securing network (WAN LAN WLAN) infrastructure and server systems. This position involves working with hybrid and cloud technologies across multiple locations (Marin County Ohio China India and the Philippines ). The role will also support APAC and the U.S. East Coast facilities. Reporting to the Director of IT Security & Infrastructure this fulltime position is based onsite in Zenni COE Center Philippines.
The main responsibilities of a SYSTEM/NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR include:
Provide operational support for WAN LAN and WLAN networks and server systems.
Manage and troubleshoot network switches (Fortinet) routers (Fortinet) nextgen firewalls (Fortinet) and servers.
Effectively monitor diagnose troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues proactively identifying and isolating problems.
Ensure network performance and availability meet organizational objectives.
Collaborate with the IT Security team to implement technical security controls and enhance the organizations security posture.
Proactively recommend and initiate network and system projects aligned with organizational objectives.
Track and monitor changes and problems ensuring accurate change resolution logs.
Provide and maintain documentation for LAN WAN WLAN and server systems.
Maintain orderly and organized network cable management in data centers and IDFs.
As needed provide network and system support on game and/or event day setup.
Assist the IT team with other duties supporting the organization.
Comprehension knowledge of Cyber Security principles; ZeroTrust Encryption.
To apply you must be an expert on the following requirements:
Bachelors degree preferably in a technical field or equivalent network engineering and system administration experience.
Minimum 3 years of engineering and deployment experience in WLAN and LAN/WAN technologies.
Indepth knowledge of network management high availability networks QoS capacity planning server and systems management.
Strong wireless infrastructure experience.
Thorough understanding of WLAN architecture authentication security and network management.
Experience with network and wireless troubleshooting tools as well as server troubleshooting.
Experience with nextgen firewalls (Palo Alto preferred) cloud technologies (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and VPN technologies.
Familiarity with Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies.
Advanced knowledge of DLP and SaaS implementations
Advanced knowledge of Cisco Wireless Access Points and controllers or others such as Fortinet.
Advanced knowledge of BGP OSPF STP TCP/IP DNS and DHCP
Experience with enterprise monitoring applications and Network Access Control (NAC).
Strong understanding of network security concepts technologies and trends.
Configuration and maintenance of Servers & Systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
Technical Support for all COE user base and Corporate
User Administration – SSO
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Independent and capable of managing conflicting priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
