SubFamily: Risk Management

Grade: C/EB7

Your role will involve operating across the various Group teams (incl. Group Risk Group Finance EGSO) to lead collaboration across these wider Group functions to help the Group meet the new Corporate Code requirements alongside applying this programme to strengthen the Groups Control environment.

Why this role is important to us

This 18month secondment / fixed term project role is to provide programme management and leadership to support Experians adoption of the new Internal Control provisions and associated underlying processes within the UK Corporate Governance Code (2024).

This is hybrid role based in our London or Nottingham office reporting into our Group Chief Risk Officer.

Work that matters What youll be doing

This 18month assignment will oversee and deliver the changes needed to meet the requirements of the UK Corporate Code controls provisions.

Main elements of the programme include:

  • Material controls definition and implementation
  • Implementation and operation of the underlying control frameworks
  • Assurance plans for Material controls and the underlying controls around financial nonfinancial operational and compliance activities.
  • Enhanced governance structure to support the Annual report disclosures and Board attestations

Main role deliverables include

  • Board and Senior management reporting on progress on the programme
  • Programme management including planning and oversight of workstream plans progress and deliverables
  • Functional regional and global communications on requirements and progress on the programme

Qualifications :

What youll need to bring to the role & Experian

  • Experience in program management or subject matter expertise gained within a large organisation or financial institution  
  • Identify assess and manage program risks across multiple domains (e.g. technology regulatory finance).
  • Confidence applying your technical knowledge in a practical and balanced manner to produce high quality Board and Executive level risk reports and to challenge constructively.
  • Implement structured program delivery oversight and promote engagement and collaboration among stakeholders.

  • Knowledge and interest in a topic such as risk management controls finance or assurance and audit
  • Work with senior stakeholders to establish relationships and become a trusted advisor
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable recommendations
