Job Title: DevOps Red Hat Platform Engineer hybrid

Platform Engineer Position Summary Clearance Required - Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer with 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-level platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Red Hat Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices, coupled with the ability to operate in a secure and dynamic environment. Your work will directly support mission-critical systems and infrastructure. Education & Experience (Required): Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in platform engineering, system administration, or related fields. Technical Skills: o Proficiency in Red Hat Linux system administration. o Strong expertise in Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration. o Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation tools. o Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools in distributed environments. Soft Skills: o Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. o Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Design, implement, and maintain platform solutions using Red Hat Linux. Containerize applications and manage deployments using Docker. Orchestrate and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes. Apply DevOps practices to streamline CI/CD pipelines and automate platform management processes. Ensure the security, scalability, and high availability of mission-critical systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure and platform requirements. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system functionality. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to current systems. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
