Job Title: Medical Science Liaison Coagulation West

As a fieldbased medical expert the MSL supports CSL Behring’s products and therapeutic areas by advancing scientific and collaborative relationships and acting as a conduit for timely translation and communication of knowledge with key members of external healthcare communities and internal stakeholders towards optimized patient outcomes. The MSL function is anchored in educating external and internal stakeholders in the science behind and safe and appropriate use of our products. The MSL will gather and translate relevant and actionable insights from their external interactions and provide Medical Leaders with information that identifies scientific and educational gaps. The MSL supports the generation of clinicalscientific knowledge and applies subject matter expertise and experience to special projects. This opportunity with our Coagulation & Acquired Bleeding team will entail a focus on the planning and implementation of clinicalscientific knowledge exchange with clinic and hospitalbased clinicians treating congenital and acquired bleeding disorders.
The expected base salary range for this position at hiring is $175K $205K Please note this salary range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay that CSL expects to pay for this position at the listed location as of the time of this posting. Individual base salary for a successful candidate is determined by qualifications skill level experience competencies and other relevant factors. In addition to base salary total compensation for this role will also include incentive compensation and may include equity.

- Acquire and maintain an advanced level of clinicalscientific knowledge in the assigned therapeutic area(s) and/or disease state(s) related to CSL Behring’s products. Maintain a basic level of clinicalscientific knowledge about the broader portfolio of CSL Behring’s products and the diseases they treat.
- Accurately and compliantly interpret and disseminate balanced and factual scientific clinical and health economic data. Gather and evaluate new information as it applies to CSL Behring’s products and areas of therapeutic interest.
- Identify and engage appropriate regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in objectivebased interactions with which to develop professional relationships and exchange clinicalscientific information relevant to CSL Behring’s products and areas of therapeutic interest.
- Provide areas of interest and general highlevel information regarding CSL Behring’s Investigator Study (IIS) program process in response to unsolicited requests. Monitor and communicate progress for those IISs approved and supported.
- Gather translate and communicate actionable strategyaligned insights from scientific educational and conference setting interactions
- Deliver approved educational programs to relevant healthcare audiences (e.g. HCPs Managed Care Organizations Specialty Pharmacies etc.).
- Attend scientific and medical meetings.
- Deliver approved educational programs and training to relevant internal functions.
- Degree in nursing pharmacy or advanced degree in science/medicine (MD PhD PharmD) preferred
- 5 years' relevant pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical industry experience Prior experience providing MSL level support in specific therapeutic areas
- Prior MSL experience is required.
- Must be able to organize prioritize and work effectively in a dynamic fieldbased environment.
- This fieldbased role can require up to 6075% travel including weekend work and requires demonstration of effective virtual communication skills.
