Operations Finance Analyst
Reports to: Finance Manager
Salary: R45 R55k per month depending on experience
Location: Hybrid Cape Town

Our client is a fastgrowing fintech lending to small and mediumsized businesses in the UK.
Role Overview
Our client is looking for a Operations Finance Analyst to join their finance team. This role is suited for a person with a background in accounting newly qualified CA with 2 years post qualification experience. (Total experience being 5 years)
Key Responsibilities
- The main function will be operations. Which involves everything that happens post underwriting of a client ie funding capturing repayments statements reconciliation to banks reporting troubleshooting adjustments etc.
- You will learn the UK ops and then start building out the operations function for our Irish/European business . Improving processes would be part of the job working with tech looking to streamline functions etc.
- The person will drive operations forward by overseeing the processes and improving them/streamlining them/automating them. Ultimately for the right person this role can evolve to Operations Office Manager type role after a few years (ie and be responsible for the UK and Europe)
- You will be doing some finance functions (eg making some creditor payment) and other functions to support the finance team . Some of it is quite basic but a good way of getting in the weeds
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting (CA Stream & qualified)
- 5 Years total experience experience particularly in audit
- Reliable & very fine attention to detail
- Very detail oriented
- Ability to work well within a team
- Proactive mindset and willingness to learn
