Job Description

We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Low Voltage Safety Coordinator to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations across all lowvoltage installation projects. Your expertise will help safeguard our team projects and customers while maintaining our commitment to excellence in the telecommunications industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop implement and enforce safety policies procedures and protocols for lowvoltage telecommunications projects.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on job sites to ensure compliance with OSHA company and industry standards.
  • Provide safety training and education for field staff including new hire orientations and ongoing safety updates.
  • Monitor and review job site conditions identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Maintain detailed records of safety training incident reports and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to integrate safety measures into project plans.
  • Investigate incidents nearmisses and violations providing comprehensive reports and actionable recommendations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all safetyrelated matters including regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a safetyrelated role preferably in lowvoltage telecommunications or a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and other safety regulations applicable to construction and lowvoltage installations.
  • Certification in safety management (e.g. OSHA 30 Certified Safety Professional CSP or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train and motivate field teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software is a plus.
