Job Title: Mechanical Drafter IV
Duration: 12 months
Location: 1400 73rd Avenue NE Fridley MN USA 55432
Pay Rate: $31.52/hr. on W2
Job Summary:
- Prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical devices including dimensions fastening methods and other engineering information.
- Requires a high school diploma or GED with 810 years of experience.
- Independent judgment with little supervision.
- Strong skills in creativity communication problemsolving leadership and mentoring.
- Knowledge in design techniques engineering science technology and relevant computer applications like CADD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve design drawings and specifications using CAD equipment.
- Instruct and assist staff in resolving design issues.
- Approve mathematical formulas material dimensions and design specifications.
- Modify designs to address deficiencies or production issues.
- Act as a subject matter expert to clients and review installation schematics.
Top Skills Required:
- CREO 7 (or higher) Schematic/Cabling experience (58 years minimum)
- Windchill experience
Additional Information:
- Hybrid position with a flexible schedule potentially transitioning to a fulltime role.
- Typical work involves handling change notices from lead designers and managing multiple projects.
- The role requires access to Windchill for determining daily tasks.
- Onehour Zoom interviews will be conducted.
