Job Description:
Job Summary
- The Data Analytics Engineer is an energetic team player passionate about analytics and continuous improvement.
- The ideal candidate is a motivated individual possessing good analytical critical thinking communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analyst will work closely with users in multiple business functions to transform business requirements into analytical solutions using a broad range of technologies that span across the analytics platform at the client.
- Additionally the Analyst will help support and advance strategic initiatives in the Analytics Center of Enablement.
Essential Duties
- Provide analytical solutions through enterprise analytic platforms and meetings with the business to understand their analytics needs.
- This includes researching designing documenting developing and modifying solutions throughout the production life cycle
- Analyse data in Google Big Query through SQL and provide recommendations on data products needed for Tableau.
- Be accountable for the performance and results of the team within the deliverables assigned.
- Maintain and enhance existing analytical solutions by making appropriate changes and validations to ensure that the desired results are produced
- Assist with Tableau Server/Cloud administration including monitoring environments diagnosing problems and repairing issues on time.
- Design and implement Tableau Cloud data and workbook security model.
- Curate and publish standardized data sources for Creators to access via Tableau Cloud.
- Partner with the infrastructure team to troubleshoot and resolve network/serverrelated
- Serve as backup Server Administrator to install and deploy new versions of Tableau software across all lifecycle environments.
- Create/Modify/Manage Tableau Server Task Schedules.
- Monitor Tableau Server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements. Proficiency with managing complex data from multiple data sources and demonstrate ability to understand new datasets and data structures.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelors Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Computer Science Information Systems or other related field or relevant experience Required
- Up to 5 years of IT and business/industry experience in data analytics platform Tableau 23 years of experience is a must design and implementation including working with endusers to effectively assess business requirements and define analytical needs to support datadriven decisionmaking

- Good knowledge of database technologies and concepts
- Good knowledge of multidimensional solutions designed for analytics
- Developing knowledge of Information Security Awareness
- Developing knowledge and execution of IT Standards Policies and Procedures
Leadership/Supervisor Experience
- Regular supervision and oversight required
- Adherence to performance review and goal setting process
- Proactively seeks guidance from other team members when needed
