Job Title: AWS Security Architect (Hybrid)
Location: Richmond VA
Duration:6 Months
Job Type: CorpCorp / 1099 / Contract W2
Rate: $110/hr on C2C
Client: State of Virginia

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Security Architect to lead the design implementation and maintenance of our cloud security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS security best practices and a proven track record of securing complex cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Architecture:
- Design and implement a robust security architecture for our AWS environment including identity and access management (IAM) network security data protection andthreat detection.
- Stay uptodate with the latest AWS security best practices and industry standards.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Migration Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy to seamlessly transition our onpremises servers and applications to the AWS cloud.
- Assess the security implications of each migration step and implement appropriate security controls.
Incident Response:
- Lead incident response efforts including investigation containment and remediation of security breaches.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaboratewith development operations and other teams to ensure security is integratedinto all aspects of the development lifecycle.
- Provideguidance and mentorship to team members on security best practices.
