Design develop and integrate avionics systems and components in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Perform system and component level troubleshooting repair inspect modify and service aircraft avionics electrical and electronic equipment. to verify performance reliability and compliance with specifications.
Collaborating with system suppliers and interfacing disciplines to ensure seamless integration of systems such as autopilot communication navigation and display systems into the aircraft.
Support on integration of systems such as AFCS Communication (VHF HF SATCOM Datalink) Navigation (ADF VOR ILS DME TCAS Transponder IRS GPS FMS Weather Radar) Displays (EFIS EICAS HUD SVS) Information/Maintenance & Recording (IMS OMS Data load CVR FDR AHMS) Cabin connectivity on the aircraft.
Conduct and support Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) Guidelines for Development of Civil Aircraft and Systems.
Manage review and approve the deliverables of the Avionics System Suppliers.
Provide technical support for final assembly lines and inservice aircraft addressing designrelated issues as they arise.
Participate in the development of software for crew alerting systems and other aircraftlevel functions.
Qualifications :
You hold a university degree in Electrical Electronics Software Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
You hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license with an E rating from Transport Canada.
You have a minimum of four years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry.
You possess excellent problemsolving skills work planning structure and prioritization abilities.
You have the ability to work well in a team environment.
