Job Description
Job Title: Python Full Stack Developer
Location: NYC NY (3 Days Hybrid)
Job Type: Long term
Visa Type: Independent
Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Python Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic development team. You will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining web applications and services across the entire software stack. You will work with both frontend and backend technologies leveraging Python and modern frameworks to build scalable and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- BackEnd Development: Design and develop serverside applications and APIs using Python (preferably Django/Flask).
- FrontEnd Development: Build responsive userfriendly web interfaces using HTML CSS JavaScript and frontend frameworks like React Angular or Vue.js.
- Database Management: Design and implement database schemas write optimized queries and work with relational databases (PostgreSQL MySQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers designers and other developers to understand requirements and deliver highquality software solutions.
- Code Quality: Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices and code reviews.
- Testing & Debugging: Ensure the reliability and scalability of the system by writing unit tests and debugging issues.
- Deployment & Maintenance: Deploy applications and services to cloud environments (AWS Azure etc.) and ensure the smooth operation of deployed solutions.
- Documentation: Write technical documentation for features API specifications and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Languages & Frameworks: Proficiency in Python and experience with web frameworks like Django Flask or FastAPI.
- FrontEnd Technologies: Solid understanding of HTML CSS JavaScript and experience with frontend libraries or frameworks like React Angular or Vue.js.
- Databases: Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB etc.).
- Version Control: Experience with Git and GitHub/Bitbucket for source code management.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure) for deployment and infrastructure.
- ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems and applications.
- Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools (JIRA Trello etc.).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- DevOps Tools: Experience with CI/CD pipelines Docker and Kubernetes.
- Testing Frameworks: Experience with unit testing frameworks (PyTest unittest).
- Web Security: Understanding of common web security practices and vulnerabilities (SQL injection XSS CSRF).
- Containerization & Microservices: Knowledge of containerization using Docker and building microservices architectures.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 8 years of professional experience in fullstack development.
- Strong portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing relevant projects is a plus.
