Job Description
- Oversee the installation of packaging equipment ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering maintenance and operations teams to plan and execute equipment installations.
- Develop and maintain installation schedules ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Conduct site assessments to determine equipment requirements and layout.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery and installation of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.
- Provide training and support to staff on the operation and maintenance of new equipment.
- Ensure all documentation related to equipment installation is accurate and uptodate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Packaging Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in packaging engineering with a focus on equipment installation.
- Strong technical knowledge of packaging equipment and systems.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
- Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to oversee equipment installations at various locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the food and beverage pharmaceutical or consumer goods industries.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to packaging equipment and installations.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
