About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with experience in the automotive industry to oversee and drive the successful execution of projects related to vehicle development powertrain systems autonomous driving or smart manufacturing. The ideal candidate will collaborate with crossfunctional teams suppliers and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution:
Lead endtoend project management from initiation to completion ensuring timely and costeffective delivery.
Define project scope objectives deliverables and success metrics in alignment with business goals.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans timelines and risk mitigation strategies.
2. Crossfunctional Collaboration:
Coordinate with engineering manufacturing supply chain procurement and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless execution.
Manage relationships with OEMs Tier 1 suppliers and technology partners.
Facilitate communication across departments to align priorities and resolve roadblocks.
3. Budget & Resource Management:
Monitor project budgets and ensure cost efficiency.
Allocate resources effectively to balance workloads and project demands.
Work closely with finance teams to track expenditures and justify investments.
4. Risk & Quality Management:
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 ISO 26262 and APQP standards where applicable.
Oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement:
Provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Prepare status reports KPIs and presentations for executive review.
Act as the primary point of contact for external partners and customers.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering Automotive Technology Business or a related field.
37 years of project management experience in the automotive EV or mobility sector.
Strong understanding of vehicle development processes supply chain and quality standards.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project JIRA or equivalent).
Familiarity with Agile Scrum or traditional waterfall project methodologies.
Strong leadership problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with crossfunctional teams.
PMP PRINCE2 or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Bilingual (English Mandarin or German/Japanese/Korean) is preferred for global projects.
