At Umami Bioworks we are pioneering cultivated 'not caught' seafood by developing the production system for delicious nutritious and affordable cultivated fish starting with IUCN Red Listed species that are difficult to farm and being driven extinct by human consumption. We are partnering with food producers to scale our cultivated seafood production system to provide people around the world with a stable resilient local supply of seafood free from mercury antibiotics microplastics and ocean pollutants.

Umami Bioworks is looking to hire an inquisitive innovative and independent Product Management Intern to join our R&D team in India.

Umami Bioworks is looking to hire an inquisitive innovative and independent Product Management Intern to join our R&D team in India.
Responsibilities:
- Define product vision strategy and roadmap in alignment with business strategy and scientific breakthroughs
- Leading interdisciplinary teams at the intersection of science business regulatory and engineering
- Planning development and implementation of biotech products with customers ensuring they meet user needs
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch
- Conduct market research gather user feedback and analyse competitive landscape
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and deliver products on time and within budget
- Communicate product updates plans and progress to stakeholders
- Pursuing degree in Chemical Engineering Biomedical engineering biotechnology or a related technical field
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in product management or consulting
- Passion for science and creating and launching new products in market
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle user experience and market analysis
- Excellent analytical strategic thinking and project management skills
- Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
- Capable of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- 34 months internship starting August 15
