Are you a visionary clinical leader passionate about transforming healthcare for underserved populations Vheda Health is looking for an experienced Senior Medical Director to shape the future of virtual health engagement and chronic care coordination. This is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise to a growing missiondriven organization that is improving health equity and delivering measurable outcomes for our partners and members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead with Clinical Excellence: Oversee the clinical quality of our chronic care and maternal health programs ensuring they adhere to the highest standards of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Drive Analytic Impact: Collaborate on datadriven strategies to showcase the clinical value of our programs through comprehensive reporting compelling member success stories and impactful dashboards for our payer partners.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Serve as a clinical ambassador for Vheda Health fostering relationships with partners and advocating for the transformative power of our solutions.
- Shape Industry Conversations: Represent Vheda Health at conferences industry panels and in publications positioning the company as a leader in virtual health and chronic care management innovation.
- Ensure Regulatory Integrity: Monitor and enforce compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations from HIPAA to CMS guidelines ensuring our programs reflect the best practices in valuebased care.
- Clinical Expertise: MD or DO with board certification in a relevant specialty such as Internal Medicine Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine. Additional qualifications like an MBA are a strong plus.
- Extensive Experience: A minimum of 10 years in clinical practice with a deep understanding of chronic disease management and population health strategies.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in a senior medical leadership role ideally in a digital health or innovative care delivery setting.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A thorough understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA CMS guidelines and valuebased care models.
- Exceptional Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders and influence decisionmaking at the highest levels.
