Description
Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Biostatistics and Data department located at our Ridgefield facility. As an Intern you will work with a seniorlevel statistician on a research project related to the pharmaceutical industry and/or clinical trials. Potential topics may include survival analysis Bayesian methods dosefinding data visualization etc. with applications to oncology immunology cardiology respiratory central nervous system disorders or clinical research in general.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with a seniorlevel statistician on a research project related to the pharmaceutical industry
and/or clinical trials
- Present your research results at the end of the program
- May have the opportunity to summarize your work in a peerreviewed publication
Requirements
Must be an Undergraduate Graduate or Professional Student in good academic standing.
Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.
Overall cumulative GPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least 3.000 (on 4.0 scale) or better (No rounding up).
Major must be related to the field of internship.
Desired Skills Experience And Abilities
- Graduate student in fields related to statistics biostatistics data science computer science
epidemiology public health or mathematics
- Ph.D. candidate with at least 2 years of study
- Good written and oral communications skills strongly preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency conducting statistical analyses using SAS R and/or Python

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to take a drug test and postoffer physical (if required)
Must be 18 years of age or older
