Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections maintenance and repairs of incinerator systems on board our vessels

Monitor and control the incinerator process to ensure proper functioning and compliance with environmental regulations

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with the incinerator system

Maintain accurate records of all incinerator activities including waste disposal and incinerator usage

Train and educate crew members on proper incinerator operation and waste management practices

Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times

Coordinate with port authorities and regulatory agencies for proper disposal of waste materials

Keep uptodate with industry developments and regulations related to incineration and waste management

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in marine engineering or related field preferred

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Incinerator Technician on board a vessel or in a similar role

Strong knowledge of incinerator systems and waste management regulations

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams

Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to work in a marine environment and travel as required
