We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide highquality respiratory care to our patients in a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment. As a member of our multidisciplinary team youll work directly with patients to assess treat and manage a variety of respiratory conditions helping improve their overall health and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients with respiratory disorders including oxygen therapy nebulizer treatments and mechanical ventilation support.
- Assess patient respiratory status through physical examinations lab reports and diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients progress and make adjustments to treatment as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about respiratory health selfcare techniques and treatment plans.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of respiratory equipment.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide emergency respiratory support when necessary including CPR and advanced lifesaving techniques.
Qualifications:
- Active Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in Washington State.
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification preferred.
- Proven experience in respiratory therapy including knowledge of respiratory care techniques equipment and clinical procedures.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Compassionate patientcentered attitude with excellent communication skills.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
