Job Description
Project Manager
- Seeking an experienced project manager to join the Application & Client Services team.
- Desire a handson selfstarter and team player possessing both technical and interpersonal skills.
- Must be flexible and able to meet deadlines set by internal and external agencies to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
- Under supervision the project manager will be a key contributor supporting our applications and must have experience managing a variety of projects including request for proposals (RFPs) contract/scope development infrastructure upgrades application enhancements and new development and implementation of COTS/vendor applications with multiple integrations and Agile technologies.
- Must possess high level understanding in the areas of project management methodology web application programming content management systems API database and system design.
- Identification of the technical approach to be used on a given project and manage the system development process.
- Ability to lead and motivate crossfunctional teams and interact at all levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including developers product owners and subject matter experts.
- Advocate for change and effectively communicate project value including navigating individual viewpoints and building consensus.
- Manage scope throughout the project duration; manage project tasks with team members correlate work to a work breakdown structure and ensuring team members track time appropriately to projects.
- Manage tasks and resources related to support maintenance and enhancements of existing applications where applicable.
- Potential areas of assignment with duties described above: Public Safety Water Resources Commissioner and Assessing & Taxation.
- Prefer local candidate for hybrid work environment but remote only candidates will be considered based on qualifications.
