You will be working on a project for a major Swedish manufacturer of outdoor power products.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Gather information about the current solution through stakeholder meetings documentation analysis and assessment of business requirements impact and criticality.
- Identify and mitigate migration risks related to workloads performance and availability.
- Design architecture in Azure including components such as Virtual Machines VNets NSGs SQL databases Firewall rules monitoring backups and high availability configurations.
- Validate architectural templates with the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) team and application owners.
- Deploy the architecture in Azure.
- Plan migration windows and prepare Change Requests (CRs).
- Execute workload migrations.
- Provide potential hypercare support during and after the migration.
We are happy to hear from you if you have:
- 9 years of relevant experience
- Experience with automation and InfrastructureasCode (IaC) tools such as PowerShell Azure CLI and Azure Bicep.
- Direct experience migrating workloads from VMware to Azure Native VMs.
- Professional experience working with cloud solutions in large enterprise environments.
- Relevant certifications such as AZ700 AZ104 AZ305.
- Excellent communication skillsclear concise and effective interaction is key.
- Experience in project leadership including managing and reporting on progress communication and task execution.
- Strong initiative and the ability to work independently including creating and executing tasks with minimal supervision.
