Job Description

Scope:

Assistant Project Managers assist on a wide range of projects of all sizes and dimensions.  (supervised by a more senior person) on Aviation projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Project Manager on a range of tasks
  • Conducting background research data collection and benchmarking
  • Establishing effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project
  • Producing project plans
  • Monitoring and documenting project progress and other performance indicators
  • Tracking and documenting changes
  • Preparing written project communication materials
  • Preparing formal project progress and other reports
  • Liaising with the client contractors and designers
  • Attending meetings and drafting minutes etc
  • Preparing presentation materials for client pitches etc
  • Inputting key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database
  • Reporting
  • Depending upon context an Assistant Project Manager is likely to report to a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager

Key Performance Indicators

  • Tasks are completed to the right accuracy and quality standards
  • Tasks are completed efficiently and on time
  • Client needs are dealt with in a helpful and attentive way
  • The crossfunctional team is supported in a helpful and positive manner
  • An effective contribution is made towards the overall project
  • Key information and data are effectively communicated and appropriately retained

Qualifications :

  • Education Diploma or B.E.  Civil.
  • Experience in Based build Civil structural is preferred Airport experience will be a must experience
  • You should have relevant experience of working for a construction consultancy in India be degree educated in a relevant construction subject and have good technical skills.
  • 5 7 years of postqualification experience in similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
