Job Description
Are you passionate about data analysis and energy forecasting Join Axpo Iberia as a Balancing Data Analyst and contribute to ensuring the quality of energy forecasting processes. Collaborate with a dynamic team analyze complex datasets and develop innovative solutions to optimize energy models in over 15 markets.
What you will do:
- Monitor and ensure the quality of energy forecasting processes investigating deviations and their root causes.
- Analyze and improve existing forecasting models while designing robust data architectures and reports.
- Set up KPIs automatic alerts and forecast adjustments to maintain forecast accuracy.
- Develop custom scripts to analyze timeseries data and enhance operational insights.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve system bugs and ensure smooth tool operations.
- Learn and apply specific knowledge from diverse energy markets.
What you bring & who you are:
- University or Masters degree in Engineering Computer Science Mathematics or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience in querying debugging and optimizing databases.
- Familiarity with Power BI dashboards and Python for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and abstract thinking paired with a proactive and problemsolving mindset.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is essential; energy market knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a teamplayer attitude.
