Job Description
Were looking for a proactive and businessminded Legal Counsel to support our clients legal operations in Europe. Youll work closely with senior management and crossfunctional teams in this role.
As the sole counsel you will advise on M&A corporate governance and regulatory compliance. This position offers an opportunity to work on highimpact projects.

Tasks
- Operational Legal Support: Provide daytoday legal guidance on labor law medical law patient rights and regulatory matters related to statutory and private health insurance.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with M&A finance HR and operations teams to ensure seamless legal support across the business.
- External Counsel Management: Engage and coordinate with international and local law firms ensuring highquality costeffective legal services.
- M&A Transactions: Support M&A activities including due diligence contract negotiations and postmerger integration.
- Corporate Governance & Compliance: Oversee corporate law matters draft governance documents and support risk management and compliance initiatives.
- Strategic Legal Advisory: Assess legal risks provide pragmatic solutions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex legal concepts into clear actionable advice for management and nonlegal teams.
Requirements
- 35 years of legal experience ideally within a corporate legal team or law firm.
- Strong background in M&A transactions including due diligence contract negotiation and posttransaction integration.
- Ability to assess legal risks and provide clear strategic advice.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to nonlegal stakeholders.
- A proactive businessfocused mindset capable of balancing legal risks with commercial objectives in a fastpaced private equitybacked environment.
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
