At TechnicaX we are dedicated to transforming ideas into reality through innovative technology solutions. We are currently seeking a talented Web Developer with a strong background in database management to join our dynamic team.
Position
As a Web Developer at TechnicaX you will play a pivotal role in designing developing and maintaining high performance websites and applications preferably in HTML 5 and WordPress. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to create user friendly interfaces and ensure seamless database integration when needed. The ideal candidate will have around 3 years of experience in web development and a solid understanding of various database technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop test and maintain responsive websites and applications using HTML CSS JavaScript and other web technologies.
- Design and manage databases ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to create engaging user experiences.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise ensuring minimal downtime.
- Stay updated with emerging web technologies and industry trends to implement best practices.
- Write clean maintainable code while adhering to coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to project documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3 years of experience in web development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies: HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Strong experience with backend technologies such as PHP Python or Node.js. (Preferred)*
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with version control systems preferably Git.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
