The role you are looking at is a part of Wolt Market our very own grocery stores that deliver unprecedented convenience and world leading customer experience. People across Israel can order their groceries and have them delivered to their doorstep at lightspeed! This would not be possible or sustainable without a very strong operations function.
Wolt Market is growing rapidly and we have ambitious goals. We are looking for an Operations Team Lead to lead a Woltversion of a district/area manager in the retail industry.
As a Wolt Market Operations Team Lead youll have ownership of supporting a team Store Managers and together run a worldclass grocery delivery operation. Four key areas that youll always focus on are the safety quality customer experience and productivity of your operation.
You will be leading everything related to how operations take place and are responsible for finding and setting up targets optimizing store layout improving picking and packing costs ensuring a great user experience and providing leadership to a team of store leaders and grocery associates.
In this role youll get a lot of help and support on the way but are also expected to be an amazing independent manager with an exceptional ability to execute every single day.
What youll be doing
- Responsible for the end to end store operations from fulfillment to delivery in a group of our stores.
- Review the demand forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to meet the overall store/country objectives.
- Provide day to day leadership and guidance to store leaders and associates to optimize store operations and guarantee operational excellence mentor coach and help their daytoday work.
- Workforce and Cost Management.
Qualifications :
- At least 3 years of experience in operations management in retail distribution restaurants or hospitality a must.
- Experience as a district/area manager in the retail industry a big advantage.
- Great analytical skills. Excel skills are a strong recommendation.
- Experience of leading teams in stores or in a similar field.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Ability to think and act fast operationally with an eye for detail.
- A handson proactive practical pragmatic attitude with resiliency for changes.
