Job Title: Software Engineer Consultant/Expert GCP Architect
Location: Dearborn MI (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months Contract
Position Description:
Solution Architect will help GDIA teams with the architecture of new and existing applications using Cloud architecture patterns and processes. Works with product teams to define assemble and integrate components based on Ford standards and business requirements (examples: hardware software availability scalability and reliability). Supports the product team in the development of the technical design and documentation. Participate in proof of concepts and support the product solution evaluation processes. Provides architecture guidance and technical design leadership. Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills Required:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data architectures
- Hands on experience with Cloud Run Data Flow Cloud SQL Big Query and related GCP services
- Hands on experience with Large Language Models RAG and Chatbot build and deployment
- Experience with designing highavailability highvolume lowlatency technologies
- Indepth expertise with modern analytics tools and techniques including data discovery streaming analytics and related technologies
Skills Preferred:
- Understands infrastructure architecture including servers SAN networking firewalls database and middleware.
- Experience with Micro services and SPA application architecture
- Selfstarter ability to work independently but still can work within group to deliver top notch solutions.
Experience Required:
- Google Cloud Platform Architecture
Education Required:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Science Business Information Systems or other information technologyoriented major or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
Education Preferred:
- 5 years of Architect experience preferably at an Enterprise Level.
- 2 years of experience in Big Data using Cloud technology concepts (Google Cloud Platform preferred) or similar tools
