Solution IT Inc. is looking for an AS400 Developer (Retail Exp Mandatory) for one of its clients in SFO CA
LOCALS ARE HIGHLY PREFERRABLE.
Job Title: AS400 Developer (Retail Exp Mandatory)
Required Skills:
Job Description:
- 8 years of combined experience designing developing and supporting applications using RPG/RPGLE in an IBM iSeries systems environment.
- Implement technical solutions through analysis design development QA and production using the development standards and adhering to the SDLC. Focus is on high productivity and quality of code. Solutions implemented must have adequate error handling and meet performance standards.
- Advanced level knowledge of RPG and CL.
- Experience with Aldon Life Cycle Manager or similar change management software.
- Working knowledge of structured query language and embedded SQL in RPG.
- Work with a variety of business and technology teams to ensure that technical solutions meet overall business requirements and technical standards.
- Ability to write clear concise and logical technical documentation.
- Strong in both Oral and Written communication.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge in Web service calls XML and JSON.
- Handling AS400 job related issues.
- Onsite/offshore experience.
- Jira/Kanban.
Work Site: SFO CA
