We are currently looking for someone based in Cape Town. a very knowledgeable in onprem to cloud (snowflake) migration and data warehousing.

What you will be do:
- Specify High Level Data Architecture
- Specify ELT Methodology
- Implementation Plan
- Specify System Architecture
- MSA addendums to allow EU storage of data
- Specify business requirements
- Provide costing estimate
- Standardise and Streamline Tool Adoption Across the Data Engineering Team
- Ensure Efficient Access to Data Tools and Systems
- Strengthen IT Support for Data Engineering Operations
- Improve Access to Resources and Minimize Operational Blockers
- Build a robust data warehousing system to support data science and BI initiatives.
- Establish Comprehensive and UptoDate Technical Documentation on pipelines and warehousing
- Develop and Maintain Clear Architectural Diagrams
- Implement Monitoring system for data pipelines
