Job Description
This position reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards performing and analyzing big component measurements making quality reports and monitoring the production phase.
I. Duties
Responsibilities:
- Ensure raw materials and finished products meet specifications through meticulous examination and precise measurement tools.
- Verify products meet industry standards company policies and regulatory requirements by staying updated on quality regulations.
- Write reports to document deficiencies and errors in products.
- Communicate identified defects promptly to supervisors and collaborate on corrective actions for timely resolution.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Proven experience as a quality control inspector in the same industry.
- Excellent knowledge using high accuracy ID & OD micrometers calipers gauges etc.
- Familiarized with measuring in millimeters.
- Excellent knowledge of interpreting mechanical drawings & blueprints.
- Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good knowledge of industry products and processes.
- Basic mathematical arithmetic.
- Excellent oral and communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Expertlevel fluency in producing clear and precise technical documentation.
- Mastery in using highprecision measuring instruments for dimensional analysis.
- Superior ability to accurately interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Comprehensive expertise in mechanical systems and principles.
- Strong technical understanding of wind energy wind farms and turbine operations.
- Advanced expertise in gearboxes and main shaft systems.
- Proficient in the advanced use of Microsoft Office for administrative and technical tasks.
- Exceptional focus on maintaining and improving quality standards.
- Expert in delivering clear and effective communication across various mediums.
- Mastery in structuring and organizing tasks to achieve optimal efficiency.
- Highly skilled in training and developing others effectively.
High school diploma or any equivalent education.
Over 5 years of experience in the following:
- Measuring components using highaccuracy devices.
- Reading & Interpreting Drawings & Blueprints.
