Tasks
- Oversee daily operations of delivery services to ensure timely and accurate dispatching and delivery.
- Coordinate with drivers and logistics personnel to optimize delivery routes and schedules for efficiency and costeffectiveness.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of delivery vehicles ensuring maintenance and compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and address any servicerelated issues promptly.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement preparing reports for senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in logistics supply chain management or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role within the truck transportation industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities to ensure efficient delivery operations.
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools with a focus on optimizing delivery schedules and routes.
