Job Description

Valve Inside Sales Representative (Houston)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage with current and potential customers to promote and sell valve products and solutions.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closure while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers in the oil gas and energy sectors.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to optimize product offerings and inventory management.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the valve industry.
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals and quotations based on customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Attend industryrelated events and seminars to enhance product knowledge and network with potential clients.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven sales experience in the valve or related industrial equipment market.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical product specifications and provide accurate information to customers.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 23 years of inside sales experience preferably in industrial sales.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry or related sectors is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management is advantageous.
