As their project workload expands across their Kent and Portland branches they are seeking a skilled Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and meet their high standards of quality and reliability.
The Project Manager will oversee multiple projects involving automated car park systems and other heavy machinery installations. You will be responsible for coordinating the people permits materials and tools needed to keep each project moving forward smoothly. The role will primarily be based in Kent WA with travel to Portland OR two to three times per month. Youll work closely with a team that includes millwrights welders heavy machinery installers and electricians to ensure projects are completed within the typical threemonth timeline. Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects involving custom metal fabrication automated car parking systems and heavy machinery installations.
- Coordinate the availability of people permits materials and tools to keep projects on schedule.
- Split time between Kent (main location) and Portland (travel 23 times per month).
- Collaborate with millwrights welders heavy machinery installers and electricians to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Maintain detailed project schedules and ensure all parts and processes flow effectively.
- Communicate with a variety of team members and stakeholders to address challenges and maintain momentum.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing projects involving heavy equipment racking or machinery.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a track record of keeping projects on schedule.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and team dynamics.
- Familiarity with fabrication crane operations rigging hydraulics and pneumatics is highly beneficial.
- Ability to travel to Portland 23 times per month and reliably manage multiple projects simultaneously.
