Job Description
We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team who is confident in their ability to perform service work and new installations in a commercial setting. As a Journeyman Electrician you will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing electrical systems.
Job description
- Servicing electrical systems for our commercial clients.
- Responsible for responding to all service calls on a rotation schedule.
- Create and send all material lists to the installation department.
- Communicate with the management team.
- Generate leads for upgrades on new electrical systems.
- Provide recommendations to the client on repairs replacement and upgrades on electrical systems.
- Perform repairs and new installations of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose Commercial Electrical systems.
- Increase client loyalty by maintaining clean work areas and setting a good example for other electricians.
- Install and connect electrical wiring outlets switches and fixtures.
- Provide Clients with exceptional customer service and information about repairs and system upgrades.
- Maintain work truck and kept van always organized and neat.
- Follow the National Electric Code (NEC) and be confident in your quality of work.
Qualifications:
- Must have a current California (CA) State Journeyman License
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with electrical systems servicing repairs and troubleshooting all aspects of the Electrical System.
- Ability to read blueprints run conduit wire and terminate devices perform quality control testing and troubleshoot Commercial electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a new and existing setting
- Detail oriented with good time management skills.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check.
- Must be able to provide references to verify reliability work quality and consistency.
- A valid drivers license is a must with a good driving record.
