Location: Remote Must reside in Florida Georgia Oklahoma Texas California Washington Nevada Arizona Minnesota Wyoming or New York

Travel: Extended travel required (30 days per assignment)

$30 $45 per hour ($62400 $93600 annually)

What Youll Do at Nexis Builds

As a Field Service Technician with Nexis Builds youll:

Travel nationwide to project sites to support civil engineering projects ensuring all systems and equipment are fully operational.

Install and maintain heavy equipment machinery and technical systems used in our engineering projects ensuring each piece of equipment is functioning at peak efficiency.

Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on complex mechanical electrical and HVAC systems identifying and resolving issues in realtime.

Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure the longevity and performance of equipment onsite.

Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers providing critical feedback and insights into the status and operation of equipment.

Provide handson technical support during the construction and installation phases of complex civil engineering projects from start to finish.

Document service and repair work accurately and in a timely manner generating detailed reports for clients and internal teams.

Ensure safety compliance at all times following Nexis Builds strict safety protocols on job sites and in accordance with local regulations.

Participate in ongoing training programs to stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in civil engineering and construction.

What You Need to Succeed

High School Diploma or GED required.

Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar technical role preferably in civil engineering or construction.

Ability to travel for extended periods (30 days per assignment) sometimes on short notice.

Strong troubleshooting technical and diagnostic skills.

Solid knowledge of mechanical electrical HVAC and industrial systems used in construction and civil engineering projects.

Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating with crossfunctional teams.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to document findings and report effectively.

Selfmotivated adaptable and eager to take on new challenges.
