Banyan Tree NAME is seeking a visionary and resultsdriven Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts in the breathtaking destination of AlUla Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our executive team you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and establish Banyan Tree Al NAME as a premier luxury destination in the region.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share
- Lead and inspire a highperforming sales team setting clear goals and providing ongoing mentorship and development
- Analyze market trends competitor activities and consumer behavior to identify new business opportunities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients partners and stakeholders
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and operational excellence
- Create and manage annual sales budgets forecasts and performance reports
- Represent Banyan Tree Al Ula at industry events trade shows and networking functions
- Drive innovation in sales techniques and leverage technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with company policies industry standards and local regulations
- Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team to attract highvalue clientele
- Cultivate relationships with luxury travel agencies corporate clients and event planners to secure longterm partnerships
- Oversee the development and implementation of loyalty programs to enhance customer retention and repeat business
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets
- Stay informed about cultural sensitivities and local customs to ensure appropriate sales approaches in the Saudi Arabian market
- Coordinate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing strategies and maximize profitability across all revenue streams
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Hospitality Management or related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
- Minimum 710 years of experience in luxury hospitality sales with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a luxury hospitality environment
- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing highperforming sales teams of 10 members
- Strong strategic planning and revenue management skills including experience with yield management systems
- Excellent negotiation and relationshipbuilding abilities with a history of securing highvalue contracts
- Proficiency in market analysis forecasting and budgeting including experience with financial modeling tools
- Advanced knowledge of CRM software sales technologies and digital marketing platforms
- International market exposure particularly in the Middle East with a deep understanding of cultural nuances and business practices
- Indepth understanding of the luxury hospitality industry Middle Eastern market trends and the vision for Saudi Arabias tourism sector
- Familiarity with tourism and travel industry dynamics in Saudi Arabia including knowledge of relevant regulations and market opportunities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and persuade highnetworth individuals and corporate decisionmakers
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and adapt to rapidly changing market conditions
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time for business development client relations and industry events
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic highly desirable
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams manage conflicts and drive organizational change
- Industry certifications such as Certified Hospitality Sales Executive (CHSE) or Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) preferred
- Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to work effectively in a diverse international environment
- Experience with luxury brand management and maintaining brand integrity across all sales channels
