Repair Technician
Full Time Day shift
Summary:
- The repair technician is responsible for providing service and customer support.

- Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment.
- Advises customer on operation procedures and requirements of systems.
- Communicates effectively over the phone to assist customers.
- Tests and verifies the functionality of the equipment sent in for repair.
- Diagnoses errors or technical problems and determines proper solutions.
- Document processes and complete required documentation.
- Collaborate with technical team to resolve technical issues.
- Complete presale upgrades and conversions as needed to meet customer orders.
- Evaluate refurbish systems returned from demonstrations and rental activities.
- Understand technical problems effectively through proper analysis evaluation and diagnoses.
- Responsible for setting up basic network connections
- Must troubleshoot basic network connections
- Define IP address by assigning subnet and IP address.
Requirements
2Year Technical degree apprenticeship program or equivalent in a technical or military field.
35 years of professional experience in electrical/electronic and mechanical fields or related professional position.
Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge.
Experience speaking with clients assisting them over the phone by troubleshooting equipment.
Working knowledge of electrical/electronic and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
Must have experience in troubleshooting basic network connections

2+ years in maintenance or a related technical role. Experience in Troubleshooting and repair electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including forklift maintenance. Experience with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting. A strong, consistent work history is essential. Experience in corrugation is required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certifications are a plus.
