About the Role:
The Employability Skills Facilitator will play a key role in empowering young women in NSTIs/ITIs by equipping them with employability skills and career development opportunities. You will be responsible for delivering engaging training sessions building industry connections and ensuring program effectiveness to support students in their career journeys.
Contract Duration: The initial contract will be for one year with the possibility of extension based on program needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Employability Skills training sessions to young women at NSTIs/ITIs ensuring high engagement and interactive learning.
- Guide students in career planning resume building interview preparation and soft skills development.
- Cofacilitate training using Quest Alliance s blended learning curricula incorporating digital tools projectbased learning and industryoriented activities.
- Build strong relationships with principals institute staff and placement officers to ensure smooth program implementation.
- Organize career connect activities including guest lectures industry visits mock interviews and career fairs to provide industry exposure to students.
- Establish a network of employers who can provide quality placement opportunities internships and mentorship for students.
- Conduct parent engagement sessions to create awareness about career opportunities for young women.
- Track student progress maintain records and submit weekly reports on program impact.
- Experiment with new strategies and ideas to improve youth engagement and employability outcomes.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work Education Human Resources or a related field.
- Passion for youth empowerment skills training and career development.
- Proficiency in Kannada and English (mandatory).
- Strong facilitation communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in mentorship teaching training or career counseling is preferred.
- Ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Basic understanding of digital learning tools and career counseling frameworks.

Skills Required: Atleast 2-3 years of relevant experience preferably in youth employability space. Knowledge of liasioning and working with multi stakeholders and partnership management. Able to manage and work with teams from across different geographies. Good computer skills Must be able to work to meet the needs and targets of the program. Attributes Must be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the program. Willing to undertake external visits & should be open to traveling across the country Must be a team player and be able to negotiate and consult with all those engaged internally and externally on green initiatives.
