Job Description
When it comes to maintenance roles a good salary is important but so are the shifts! This role offers a fantastic varied shift pattern (days/nights) that includes every other weekend off a sixday break once a month and longer breaks during the summer months perfect for maximizing your holiday time!
If you are a highly skilled and motivated Multiskilled Maintenance Technician in the North Flintshire area and want to work for a forwardthinking business that values its employees this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
This crucial role ensures the safe and efficient operation of the site by providing both proactive and reactive engineering services across a range of disciplines. You will be responsible for responding to equipment breakdowns carrying out scheduled maintenance and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. A proactive approach to problemsolving combined with a broad skill set is essential as you will be expected to identify the root cause of issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and effectively respond to equipment breakdowns across various disciplines (e.g. mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic).
- Monitor machinery during production and make necessary adjustments.
- Effectively troubleshoot equipment issues utilizing machine history and documentation.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of health safety and environmental performance.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Timeserved apprenticeship in a relevant multiskilled discipline (e.g. Mechatronics Electrical/Mechanical).
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrable experience working in a similar multiskilled role within a manufacturing environment.
Package:
- Salary: 48000 per annum
- Overtime: 1.4x rate
- Bonus: Up to 5% (based on business performance) paid 1% per quarter with the final quarter being 2%.
- Shifts: A varied shift pattern (days/nights) with excellent worklife balance. A full shift pattern can be provided upon request.
