About the Role
This is an opportunity to join a wellestablished and respected accountancy firm in Rochdale. As an Accountant youll take ownership of a portfolio of small business clients preparing bookkeeping records VAT returns yearend accounts and corporation tax submissions. Working Hours
Fulltime (Onsite) Monday to Friday
9:00 AM 5:00 PM (with a 30minute lunch break)
Key Duties
Prepare bookkeeping records VAT returns and yearend accounts for a portfolio of small business clients.
Process corporation tax returns accurately and efficiently.
Work with various accounting software including Xero QuickBooks (QBO) Sage TaxCalc VT and Engager.
Ensure compliance with UK accounting and tax regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to provide financial insights and support.
Key Requirements
AAT Level 4 qualification (or equivalent).
A minimum of three years experience working in a UK accountancy practice within the last 10 years.
Strong working knowledge of Xero QBO Sage and other accounting software.
Proficiency in Excel and Word.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
