Job Description
Overall Purpose of Job:
An emobility backend platform is an essential part of a charging infrastructure. An electric vehicle (EV) driver depends on a reliable and errorfree infrastructure and applications. Such a need can only be achieved by extensive and regular (automated) testing of all software components. As a result the EV driver is offered the most worryfree charging experience as possible. Therefore you make a significant contribution to ensuring the quality of one of the main contact points of an EV driver with our system.
Main tasks roles and responsibilities:
- As a Professional Test Automation Engineer you drive the test activities within an interdisciplinary agile software development team.
- As an integrated part of an agile team you and your teammates are responsible for retaining our product and process quality by application of stateofthe(art test methodologies.
- You have a focus on test automation and ensure that testing remains an highly integrated an effortless part of our daily work. You design implement and maintain automated test for our backend and frontend system.
- You work together with developers business analysts and requirement engineers to understand functional and nonfunctional requirements you evaluate reported bugs and approve fixes.
- You have a deep knowledge of testing methodologies and are able to share that knowledge with other testers as well as train new colleagues.
- You will work with international colleagues in our scaled agile software development program using SAFe methodology and Scrum
Qualifications :
Experiences and requirements:
Education:
- University degree in Computer Sciences/Business Informatics or similar education
Work experiences time/seniority/ sector:
- 3 years of professional experience as Test Automation Engineer
Technical/ IT knowledge:
- Experience with automating functional integration and regression tests of micro services web applications or web services.
- Indepth knowledge of testing mobile applications iOS and Android)
- Ideally experience with cross platform mobile application frameworks like capacitor.
- Experience with an industry standard test automation framework ideally Cypress or Selenium.
- Knowledge of programming languages (JavaScript and/or TypeScript) and databases (SQL and/or nonSQL).
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) and ideally with the Agile Tester (CTFLAT) extension
Language with level
- Fluent English
Mobility requirements
- As per need usually 24 weeks per year to Germany or similar
