What you will be doing:
- Enabling the delivery of a consistent level of service and data to our customer
- Playing a key role on a collaborative team responsible for the design and production of mission critical enterprisescale business solutions
- Mentoring and coaching members of the team on technologies implementation and development best practices
- Developing a thorough understanding of the logistics business and risk management domains
- Maintaining an awareness of evolving technologies in use by other teams at Expeditors and in the technology industry as a whole
This position is onsite and will reside in the greater Seattle WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

Qualifications :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Computer Science a similar field of study or comparable work experience
- Minimum 12 years of JAVA experiencece
- Curious motivated to learn something new every day
- Fun patient and an active listener
- Customer serviceoriented attitude and topnotch time management
- Experience writing unit tests integration tests and endtoend tests
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Objectoriented programming and componentbased development
- Experience with SQL and relational database design/development
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies
- Experience programming with Java in professional setting
- Experience with Maven Junit Angular Spring Boot and IntelliJ IDE
- Experience with Distributed Systems SOAP API design and Apache Kafka
- Experience with Eclipse or Visual Studio Code IDEs various plugins Maven Nexus
- Experience with Git branching and merge requests/pull requests
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines automation security and monitoring

Additional Information :
Expected base salary: $100000 to $145000
May be eligible for bonus following first year of continuous employment in position.
