Job Description

CIMA is hiring an engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience to carry out engineering mandates in telecommunications structures. The successful candidate will be required to design and analyze various structures (pylons poles posts building roof installations floor analyses supports etc.) in order to produce reports plans and specifications. The mentoring and resources made available to you will enable you to carry out the mandates entrusted to you in accordance with CIMAs own standards of excellence in the field of structures.

The Telecommunications Structures Department is part of the Operational and Digital Technologies sector which gives us access to toplevel professionals enabling us to push back the boundaries of traditional structural engineering. Whether its in structural dynamics digitizing and enhancing digital data or using drones for structural surveys the environment we offer you will enable you to take part in a number of promising and enriching initiatives in addition to the classic apprenticeship of the structural engineering profession. 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Participate in startup meetings and technical coordination with team members 

  • Carry out structural checks on towers and other existing structures 

  • Design pylons reinforcements and various structures 

  • Design and verify foundations 

  • Write structural analysis reports 

  • Participate in coordinating the layout of engineering drawings with draftsmen and ensure the quality of deliverables. 

  • Participate in the implementation and improvement of innovative methods and tools thus contributing to process optimization. 

  • May depending on the candidates interest carry out occasional surveys/inspections of highrise structures 


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering Structure option 

  • Strong interest in structural calculations and engineering 

  • Intellectual curiosity desire to learn 

  • Mastery of the French language (oral and written) 

  • Excellent time and priority management 

  • Team spirit attention to detail and organizational skills 

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and interest in designing and improving automated calculation tools
