Job Summary:

AP Recruiters is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Outage Planner for our clients facility in Homestead FL. This role involves assisting in designing and planning maintenance activities during outage periods. The planner will collaborate closely with engineering teams and vendors to ensure the efficient execution of maintenance and modification projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field walkdowns to assess maintenance needs and develop work change packages.
  • Coordinate with engineering departments and vendors to ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.
  • Develop and maintain detailed schedules using computerized tools for maintenance and outage periods.
  • Optimize resource allocation and equipment availability through effective scheduling and monitoring of work progress.
  • Document schedule performance analyze trends and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of planning and scheduling experience in a nuclear facility preferred or equivalent experience in engineering maintenance or operations.
  • Familiarity with NAMS Welding Practices and ASME Section XI standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online scheduling applications.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional technical or engineering degree preferred.
