We seek a dynamic Installation Manager to lead and optimize our installation operations in Ireland. This is an opportunity to play a critical role in a fastgrowing organization redefining service excellence.
Role Purpose
- Effectively lead and manage the installation and commissioning functions.
- Deliver a costeffective installation service that aligns with business goals and maximizes operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
Business Leadership
- Oversee all installation and commissioning functions including managing subcontractors while maintaining a cohesive whole company approach to business operations.
- I play an integral role within the senior Operations team influencing strategic goals mitigating risks and seeking opportunities for growth to ensure Convergint remains an industry leader.
Department Management
- Establish and implement best practices across installation and commissioning functions to drive operational excellence.
- Maximize revenue and contribute directly to EBITDA by ensuring the installation function achieves its financial and performance targets.
- Foster collaboration across departments and prioritize the professional development of team members to build a highperforming department.
Financial Accountability
- Ensure resource allocation is optimized and perform effective cost control for all installationrelated activities.
- Develop value management strategies for each project ensuring targets are met while maintaining cost efficiency.
Leadership and Team Building
- Lead and inspire the installation team fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and accountability.
- Communicate effectively across all levels internally within Ireland operations and the broader Convergint organization and externally with clients and stakeholders.
Regulatory Expertise
- Maintain deep knowledge of current and future regulations that impact installations ensuring compliance across all projects.
- Act as a regulatory advisor across project teams when regulationrelated challenges arise.
Innovation and Knowledge Management
- Promote a drive for innovation and knowledge sharing leveraging global solutions and tailoring them to the unique needs of the local market.
- Implement continuous design standards and operations improvements to enhance customer and colleague value.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Key Skills
- Proven leadership in installation and commissioning operations ideally within the security fire alarm life safety or building automation industries.
- Businessfocused with the ability to deliver practical and costeffective solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Exceptional project management abilities including experience overseeing subcontractors and working on a strategic operations team.
- Expertise in design innovation and implementing best practices to enhance service value for clients.
- Demonstrated capability in managing financial performance ensuring resource optimization and contributing to company profit targets.
- Strong coaching and leadership skills with a proven track record of developing highperforming teams in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Advanced technical knowledge in security systems integration and other enterpriselevel solutions.
Preferred Background
- Extensive experience leading installation projects across multiple programs with a history of delivering on time and within budget.
- Deep understanding of industry regulations and standards with the ability to ensure compliance proactively.
- Proficiency in working within matrixbased organizations to drive operational and strategic objectives.
- An engineering degree or relevant trade qualification is preferred but not essential.
