- Manage crossfunctional Medical Coding tasks and oversee multiple complex studies
- Define and manage coding project timelines and deliverables for assigned studies
- Support resource planning and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Lead vendor management activities and participate in the selection of new technologies
- Mentor and supervise other Medical Coding staff as needed
- B.S. in a scientific or allied health field (or equivalent degree)
- Typically requires 6 years of experience in Medical Coding or related fields
- Proven ability to determine appropriate methods and procedures for Medical Coding
- Indepth knowledge of Medical Coding and drug development processes
- Excellent writing and verbal presentation skills
- Experience with coding system configurations and complex integrations
- Familiarity with vendor management processes and contract reviews
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a medical coding team
