Description:
The client is looking for one (1) PeopleSoft Analyst IV
Will close to submissions on 1/28 at 4:00PM CST.
Top Required Skills & Years of Experience: 5 years

Must have Financial Functional Understanding of system data (Not just technical) Commitment Control (KK) experience is critial.
Must have an understanding of GL and KK reporting
Must understand Multiple Setids
Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with Query Performance Issues (preferred)
Experience with nVision (preferred)
Interview Process: Teams
Duration of the Contract: Until 6/30/25 with extension possible
Onsite or Remote Mostly remote with occasional onsite days required. Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense.
Project details (project overview who the contractor will work with soft skills needed etc.):
Will recommend and implement a reconciliation approach and methodology that uses/develops Standard Robust queries for agencies to perform system reconciliations and monitoring. Will review backlog of agency queries evaluate current reconciliation methodologies evaluate current queries create new queries and potentially work with new nVision layouts. Will work with STAR Finance Team SCO and agencies for business requirements.

Additional details: Looking for a query writer with an emphasis on Commitment Control (KK) and General Ledger (GL). Experience with nVision preferred.
Position goals: Recommend and implement a reconciliation approach and methodology that uses/develops Standard Robust queries for Agencies to perform system reconciliations and monitoring.
Outputs:

1 Reconciliation Queries by: GL Account Code Fund Appropriation Operating Unit & Department ID:
GL to KK
GL to Each Submodule (AR Bl EXP AP AM LA pc TR CM CSTACCTG)
Project Costing (PC) Reconciliation

2 Monitoring queries
a. Exception Reporting (E.g. Transactions not JGENed from a subsystem module. Budget Exceptions by module.)

3 Potential partnership with the Bl Team to use their frontend dashboard for presenting results.
4 Updated query training material for section.
5 Update documentation for query standards.
In Scope:
  • Queries
  • Potentially nVision and/or Bl Teams front end dashboard for presentation of results
  • Query training for section
Out of Scope:
  • Application Engines
  • Bl Publisher
Tasks Include:
  • Review backlog of Agency queries
  • Evaluate current reconciliation methodologies
  • Evaluating current queries edit/modify or discontinue use
  • New Queries
  • Potentially New nVision layouts
  • Work with STAR Finance Team SCO and Agencies for business requirements

  • Many queries written around golive were/are:
  • Inefficient o Incorrect o Incomplete o Ambiguous
  • Outdated (New functionality) o Lack of understanding by the query writers
Pay range: $81 to $92 per hour on W2.
